This isn't a text field you talk to instead of typing. You tell it what you spent today, the way you'd tell a person, and Kesef separates out each expense on its own: amount, description and category for every one.

You always review before it saves
Whatever Kesef recognizes shows up as a list of drafts you can correct: change an amount, change its category, adjust the description, or delete the one that doesn't belong. They're saved only once you confirm.
That's deliberate. An app that saves whatever it thought it heard is an app you stop trusting the first time it records a number wrong, and from then on you check everything by hand anyway. A two-second review step is what keeps the rest useful.

What gets sent and what doesn't
Recognizing what you said needs a transcription service, so something does leave your phone: the audio and the names of your categories, which are what make it possible to classify each expense. Nothing else.
Your transaction history doesn't travel, nor your balances, nor your accounts, nor any data that identifies you. The expenses that get created stay on your phone like any other, and they sync only if you have the optional account active.
If you'd rather not talk
Voice is one route, not the only one. You can type the expense in, set it as recurring if it repeats every month, or log it from your phone's widgets and shortcuts. The goal is the same either way: make logging fast enough that you actually do it.

What data of mine is sent for transcription?
The audio and the names of your categories, which are what allow each expense to be classified. Your transaction history, balances, accounts and identifying data are not sent.
Does it work offline?
Voice logging needs a connection, because transcription happens off the phone. The rest of Kesef works with no signal: you can log expenses by typing and they sync once you're back online.
