## Who I am

I'm Gonzalo Nahmías, a software developer and the founder of Kesef. For more than 11 years I've worked at different companies across the industry, mainly fintechs and edtechs, always specialising in frontend.

I build software and create digital products, helping teams turn ideas into reliable, user-centred experiences. I'm driven by curiosity, continuous learning and the wish to create meaningful products that make a difference.

The guides, tools, questions and comparisons on this site carry my name.

## Why I built Kesef

Kesef started as an app I built for my girlfriend, so we could use it together at home. From the start I wanted it to look good, with a friendly interface and simple enough for anyone to use.

It's made in Argentina, but today people all over the world use it, and it's built for that: the app is available in more than 50 languages and handles more than 150 currencies.

Most of the people using it are in Latin America, where a subscription priced in dollars is not a detail: getting your spending in order shouldn't cost you money. That's why everything that solves the problem (logging, splitting, converting and understanding) is in the free plan, and Kesef Pro only adds convenience.

Plenty of apps cap how many expenses you can log per day or per month, and the cap shows up precisely on the day you logged the most. Kesef doesn't do that and won't.

## What Kesef does

With Kesef you split expenses with your partner or friends, set a limit for each category, and your subscriptions and instalments are logged just once. With Kesef Pro, your Apple Pay and Mercado Pago payments log themselves. It's free on iPhone and Android.
