# How does the Mercado Pago integration work?

**In short:** You connect your account from More › Integrations; the authorisation happens on Mercado Pago's page and your password never goes through Kesef. From then on, every QR payment, purchase and transfer shows up in Kesef 10 to 30 minutes later, with the category suggested by the merchant. It's read-only: Kesef can't pay or move money.

You can also import the last 30 or 90 days when you connect. Each new transaction arrives with a notification, and you disconnect whenever you want from the same screen. It's available in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, and it's part of Kesef Pro.

- What comes in: QR payments, purchases, transfers sent and received, with the merchant and the suggested category.
- What doesn't: the account balance (Kesef doesn't read it) and yields. Mercado Pago instalment purchases come in as a single transaction for the total.
